ADRIATIC NETWORK BATTERY-OPERATED RAILWAY - R.A. 001 – 004

We have very few photos of this magnificent railcar, and almost all of them are in extremely low resolution. This required a lengthy search for documentation, and when we had finally resigned ourselves to designing the model with the limited material available, suddenly (incredible but true!) we found the entire layout drawing in a French rolling stock archive. Thanks to this unexpected surprise, we can confidently say that our model is faithful to the original.

The four railcars are all identical to each other with the exception of 004 which has a different cabin and headlight arrangement, for this reason we had to make both versions.

The all-metal model has two motorized bogies with 5-pole motors that drive all four axles, nestled inside a CNC-milled brass block. The spoked wheels are also made of turned brass.

We couldn't help but reproduce the interior furnishings, and thanks to the interior lighting, it's possible to admire the red velvet sofas of first class with damask satin curtains.

No one in the world of model railways has ever presented this model in perfect 1:87 scale and we are very happy to have reached this milestone because the battery-powered RA represents an important moment in the history of our railways.
